County Assets

Regional Assets There are many organizations that exist to assist the residents of Macon County in the task of economic development.

We group these organizations into five primary categories: state-level groups (like the NC Department of Commerce); regional groups (like Advantage West); groups that focus on entrepreneurship in particular (like SCORE) or business in general (like the Chamber of Commerce), educational entities (like WCU) and county government.
